My daughter has the same problem occasionally. She uses cloth diapers in the day but I put her in a disposable at night because she wets so much. I put the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap that I use for her cloth diaper cover (available here http://www.bummis.com/en/Products/covers/SuperWhisperWrap.html ) over the disposable diaper to keep it from leaking through. They’re made of super resistant waterproof laminate sandwiched between two layers of a soft polyester knit, so it’s really soft on their skin unlike traditional plastic pants that my mom used over cloth diapers when we were kids. Plastic pants would work just as well, and are available in the baby department of any store – Target, Walmart, Etc.
I have a suggestion, maybe she could try putting her kid to bed without a bottle as full as she has been. The baby is obviously drinking to much fluid, or staying in her bed too long, or a combination of the two. Have the baby drink a little less, sleep a little sorter period of time. That should end the problem
How long is the baby staying in the bed for?
I have no idea where to get them but plastic underwear that goes over the diaper might help. Also try pampers cruisers, they have less leaks for me. Try using the next size up diaper and see if that helps. Lastly, try a wipe warmer, maybe it will not wake the baby up as much and she will fall back asleep easier.
she could move the next size up.
If the diapers aren’t to small then maybe have the baby wear 2 diapers.Put her regular diaper on and then put another one on over it that is a size or 2 larger.
I used to have the same problem with my baby girl…I started buying the larger overnight diapers and putting a regular cloth diaper inside of the disposable diaper at night.
A friend had the same problem, what she did was put the baby in size that fit right now and then bought the next size up and put that one on over the other diaper. So he wore two diapers at once.
Probable solutions: buy a larger size. Or use a plastic diaper cover (their at Wal-Mart). Stop letting the baby drink so much before bed. As for diaper brands, I tried them all and found the best brand was………Wal-mart. Believe it or not, they fit the best and were the most absorbent. I was pleasantly surprised to find that.
We use Target generic but on occasion they leak over night too. I can’t complain, Noah sleeps 11 hours and I do NOT wake him up to change him. Of course, in the a.m., I wash him, change him, redress him, and change his bedding
you can continue to feed your baby the same amount, cause that’s probably what keeps him so contentedly asleep at night.
I find that diffrent brands leak more than others, and Target brand, Luvs, Pampers and Huggies ALL leak.
i found however that Wal-Mart and CVS brand diapers do not leak AT ALL. or at least not yet………(plus these brands cost $2-$6 less than the name brands above) try these brands in a size bigger than what you use now and see if that works.
I would recommend either a disposable diaper doubler (can’t find them at walmart here, but our grocery store carries them) or a couple cloth diaper prefolds (you can get these at walmart-most people use them for burp cloths) or cloth diaper inserts and put them in the diaper before bed. Either one is sure to work!

Good luck!
I have a 5-month old, and when that starts happening, I know it’s time to move up to the next size – could that be the problem?
Good luck!

Sounds like it’s time to move up in the size of diapers she is using.

I just use the daytime diaper in 1 size larger.

Otherwise he peed out the side on everything.
Hope finds a solution.

I agree 100% with motts_98
