Hey my sweeet unless he has Super-sensitive skin you are about 3 years over-due…LOL. I always used Johnsons Baby Bath (or Johnsons Baby Bath Bar) on mine, but when I was out I found that Ivory Bar Soap makes a kiddo Smell Delicious…even my youngest could use it and she has very sensitive skin…I’m sending you a Bundle of Ivory~~LOL….~~

For ours, it was 2 years. Certainly it could have been sooner, but those cloths are darn convienent.

Try Dove.

It is a mild brand that can be used around 6 months.

It is THAT mild and will not break out young tender skin.

my son is 2 and we have been using bar soap on him since he was about 1 and a half. i dont think that there is a really defined age at when you should use bar soap. but there is def no harm in using the baby stuff still. besides im sure its getting expensive. try using bar soap but try something gentle first like dove.

and actually now that i think about it, my son had baby eczema at around 4 months old and his pediatrician told me then that we should use dove instead of baby soap

I used bar soap on him at 10 months… it depends on you. Those cloths can be cnvient but expensive..try a regular kid boddy wash might save u some money and its the same

We’ve used bar soap since my oldest was around 8 months old or so. I’ve never used the huggies wash cloths either. We use Burt bee’s baby shampoo bar on my youngest daughter. She’s 10 months.

my daughter and I have super dry skin. Bar soap would literally flake our skin off.
She’s 5, and has been using my body washes for a few years now.

Try Ivory or Dove.
Also Johnson and Johnson makes a bar soap it is sold in wal mart and k mart and is kid friendly for encouraging autonomy

Wow, I guess I am a terrible mom. I used bar soap specially made for babies (it’s made in a small town in Ontario, all natural, no chemicals) since she was one week old!

I think any "deodorant" soap like dial will be too harsh for babies, but that lots of bar soaps are just right for babies (lie Ivory, Dove, unscented soaps), as are lots of liquid soaps.
