   I recommend buying the Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive in Newborn size- at least one 90 pack of NB to start.
   Pampers swaddlers is the best- it has this handy "wetness indicator" stripe down the middle of the diaper that turns colors when the baby has a wet diaper. But it only has that stripe up to size 2 right now.
   My son was born big (8 1/2 lbs at birth) and he still wore NB size diapers for over 2 weeks. He moved onto size 1 (8-14 lbs) and I didn’t need to buy size 2 diapers (12-18 lbs) until he was 2 months old.
   Relax, momma… it sounds like you’re nesting, but you shouldn’t need to buy that size for a while.

   I had all newborn but ended up with a ten lbs baby, which newborns dont wok for. 8-14 lbs is size one, youll be ther efor a while. Good news is, buy them from walmart and they will take them back and exchange if wrong size. No reciept or questions asked. I had to do it best wishes. COngrats!

   additionally, my hospital gave us all the diapers that were in her crib, so that held us over until we got the right size. So, not to worry, you still have time if there

   buy like 2 packs of newborns and the rest size ones. With my son I was out of newborns before I knew it and was left over with a bunch of newborn diapers.

   we bought 3 boxes of the newborn size. our bub was only 6lbs 3oz when born so we knew that she would be in them for awhile.

   I have bought ahead based on my last kiddos size and usage….got great deals. All are pretty much based on jumbo size packs.

   I have:
   N- 240 diapers-6 packs (got a great deal at $1.xx a pack on clearance) and can use as gifts if need-be
   1- 416 diapers-10 packs
   2- 570 diapers-13 packs
   3- 794 diapers-21 packs
   4- still being used by my 2 year old, so I don’t keep track of these in my tally for next baby yet

   I also have nearly 4,000 baby wipes as well from great deals.

   Stock up price for me is less than 10 cents per diaper, but for the bigger sizes about 13 cents per diaper. 1 cent per wipe. Hope that helps!

   I never bought the newborn size diapers and the hospital didn’t use them either on my baby.

   I went through 2 large boxes of Size 1 Huggies. The large box from Sams Club.

   I went through 2 large boxes of Size 2 Huggies. The large box from Sams Club.

   I have been using Size 3 Huggies for a while now. I am on my 4th box of those.
