yeah. i kind of like pampers stages.
Huggies is not what they were in the beginning, my baby is now on cuddlier and it is working just right,
We Never had A problems with Them When Our 2 Babies We’re Smaller But as They Get Older We Do.Our first Daughter Only could Wear Them To A Size 2 When she got a little bigger they leaked so we had to switch to Pampers Now Our 6 month old is in a size 2 and she has started to have the same problem even though she is changed often so i think we are going to have to switch her To.They are Good for babies when smaller but once they start peeing More Then they leak very badly I have found the Best Are Pampers for when babies get a little older.
pampers are mor absorbent.
I actually found the opposite. My bubby boy was constantly leaking in the cheaper brand nappies like ‘baby love’.I found that the huggies for boys stopped the problem because they are specially designed with extra absorbancy at the front where they pee I no longer have this problem unless its absolutely explosive pooing and weeing.
ive just switched from pampers active fit tp huggies natural fit. i prefer the huggies now. they are more shaped and seem to fit better.
i would say different diaper brands tend to go by sex? i know its not supposed to, but i notice that people with girls tend to have better luck with huggies. i had a boy and he was in pampers until he got older…and that worked better than huggies for him. just try a different brand…
wow really!! not for me my soon been using them since he’s been born and he’s 4mos old soon to be 5! maybe as he progresses in age it may happen but now no its fine
my son is 4 weeks old and i have tried Nanny’s that are crap, Huggies that are too bullky and leak (and i can tell he isnt comfortable) and Pampers which so far i find perfect. if u dont lik them then just change the brand, i would definately suggest Pampers although i hav only tried the newborn size so far.. i guess i’ll just hav to jot other ppls opinions down myself
Mine did too but the nurse said as long as you can fit two fingers in between nappy and belly it’s ok to do tighter. I was doing them way too loose
I used Huggies with both my sons and now use them with my 4 week old daughter. I’ve always found them to be very reliable. In contrast, I’ve tried Pampers on and off over the years and they’ve leaked every time.
I have NEVER had any problems with huggies leaking. I prefer huggies over anything else. Are you using the right size? Mabye if it leaks so much you need to go a size bigger. My son is 6 1/2 months old and is in size 3 diapers and has been for about a month and a half now.
The only time my son’s diaper leaked was when I didn’t realize to make sure his “winkie” was facing down.
Had no problems with Huggies latterly once my son was older, but when he was younger I found Huggies didn’t fit that well. Same with Pampers – never got on with those at all. Tescos own were the only ones I could use and be confident with.
Nappies are all made ‘standard’ for that particular brand. They will base thier nappies on averages, plus thier own research, with the only differences being size for weight. However, babies aren’t all ‘standard’ size. So, you may well find that while one brand may suit one baby, it may not suit another. While there may be nothing wrong with a particular brand, they just dont fit as well on some babies.
It is worth trying a selection before finding one that suits. It is a shame that nappy brands don’t have ‘trial size’ packs, this would save a lot of hassle (and pennies!), but if you know other mums with babies the same age/weight group as your own, maybe they could give you a couple of nappies if they use different ones.
Bear in mind, too, that you may find one brand suits less as they grow older so you have to change again once baby is bigger, as I had to.
I hated Huggies, I couldnt bear using them with my daughter, They seemed to be big & bulky, Leaked alot and left marks on my daughter (Even after buying a bigger size) I moved to pampers & there brilliant, Doesnt leak whatsoever! I also cant stand the huggies wipes, There awful too.
no there fine for my family
hmm.. Pampers are the only ones that leak for my son….
Are they maybe too big/small?? Are you pointing his penis down?? I am assuming that you do have a brain (lol) and obviously are as these are the only ones leaking…
My bff uses exclusively Pampers as Huggies leak for her, and I have the opposite problem.. I actually think it is all due to how your child is shaped, my son is quite long and skinny (and I dont know where he got that from…lol…) but her’s is shorter and a bit stockier (not fat though).
Diapers are a strange thing….I hear it can change from size to size too….really hoping that doesnt happen here, I’m buying his diapers at Costco….
I use Huggies for our little guy – and settled on them after testing all the other brands available on the shelf. They were the only ones that contained all the mess.
That said, I really feel every kid is different – different shapes, different mess potential, etc. As they grow, I think it’s best to test the brands again to make certain you are getting the best one for the mess at a particular stage. When mine hits nine months we will be testing the brands again bcz he will be more mobile and some of his rolls will diminish.
Perform an in house test of your own on all brands – by the smallest pack available and see what works for you.
huggies leaked urine all the time and i check my daughter religiously; my MIL felt the warmth or her starting to pee, so it was def not from being in a dirty one to start and it leaked out all over her jeans!!! huggies are crap; i buy swaddlers, hate they cost more, but i don’t want that stuff out of the diaper , that is why we use diapers…LOL
Yeah with my nephew, My sister uses the “PamperS” brand
